Trail Patrol
Organized and supported by the NS Trails, the Nova Scotia Trail Patrol is a group of volunteers who travel the provincial trails in groups of at least two people.
They report on trail conditions to the local community groups, provide information and assistance to trail users.

The volunteers can be recognized by their safety vests, which have NS TRAIL PATROL on the back, a name tag, NS TRAIL PATROL and NS Trails logo all on the front, plus our BLT logo.
These volunteers have taken the time to be trained and tested in order to provide safer trails for the public.
They promote, educate and are prepared to provide any necessary assistance. They are not enforcement officers.
If you are interested in participating you must be at least 19 years of age and willing to take part in a training session.
You must also be a resident in Beechville, Lakeside and Timberlea up to the Bear Cliff Crossing in Hubley.
